A blogger, Cutie Juls, has shed light on the reported altercation between Nollywood stars Laide Bakare and Eniola Badmus at a recent movie premiere.
A viral video captured the moment Laide Bakare confronted Eniola Badmus during the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s film, Owambe Thieves.
At the time, the cause of the heated exchange was unclear.
However, Cutie Juls, citing eyewitness accounts, claims the clash began when Laide Bakare spotted Eniola Badmus at the event and immediately launched into a verbal attack. Despite the confrontation, Eniola reportedly remained calm and unresponsive.
The situation allegedly escalated when Laide physically attacked both Eniola and her security detail.
Sources at the premiere revealed that Laide’s actions may have been triggered by lingering resentment over a previous feud in 2024, during which Eniola Badmus allegedly referred to Laide as “barren.”
