Video of little boy attempting to r@pe grown-up woman in pool resurfaces
Outraged netizens react

A video of a little boy attempting to r@pe a 36-year-old woman in South Africa has resurfaced, reigniting debates about what crime a child can be held accountable for.
The video shows the little boy, believed to be 10 years old, struggling with the woman in a shallow pool while hundreds of other little children look on.
Many onlookers off-camera laugh believing it is funny. But it soon becomes clear the little boy means business as he goes ahead to pull the panties of the woman while attempting to mount her.
A woman then stepped into the pool to grab the boy, allowing the woman to get away butt-n@ked.
The video was reposted on X on Wednesday, April 9, by a user named Amoc N Jianeh, who tweeted with the handle, @AmocJiyane. It was instantly picked up by others including Nigeria’s X influencer, Dr. Penking.
Jianey wrote: “That is not a child anymore that boy he is not safe around other kids hey and u can even ask yourself how many kids has he done this to them already……😢”
The post attracted mixed reactions with some agreeing the boy was wilder than his age and needed to be specially looked after away from other children.
However, others blamed the woman for going into the shallow pool apparently meant for little children and for not showing enough resistance while the boy was molesting her.
Microsecondnews’ investigation showed that the incident actually happened in Durban, South Africa in 2017.
A reverse image search by our crew threw up a report of the incident by Waploaded.com at the time, indicating that the woman was the mother of the boy who molested her in the pool.
The report indicated that the woman (whose name was withheld) was arrested by the police for the incident.
The woman reportedly admitted that she had too much to drink and was therefore not fully in control of her senses at the time of the incident.
”I wouldn’t do that with a sober mind we all know that, I love my son as much as I love myself, I respect him too and I’m proudly a ZCC church goer, I’m a respected figure too at my church and my community, I would like to take this moment to apologize for what happened, I promise it won’t happen again”, the woman was quoted as saying.
The publication cited an affidavit, dated 10/01/2017, Number 5487952 which the woman submitted at the Durban police station.
In it, she pleaded that she was so ‘drunk’ and over-excited at the time of the incident and was unaware that somebody was recording it.
The report did not indicate if she was later arraigned for the offence.
