‘I am holier than you’- Lizzy Anjorin knocks gospel artiste Tope Alabi for refusing to perform at her surprise birthday party
Actress Lizzy Anjorin has publicly criticized gospel singer Tope Alabi for refusing to perform at a surprise birthday party organized in Anjorin’s honour.
The event, arranged by Anjorin’s fan club in collaboration with her husband, aimed to feature a performance by Alabi.
Upon arrival and realizing the nature of the event, Alabi declined to perform and left the venue.
In response, Anjorin expressed her displeasure, stating, “I am holier than you, Aunty mi Tope… I have done more good. I have added more value to the society than you.”
She further questioned Alabi’s societal contributions compared to her own.
Anjorin also criticized her fans for organizing the surprise event without her consent, emphasizing that she does not celebrate birthdays and would have preferred the funds be directed toward supporting her business.
