The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has stated that the petition seeking to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, does not meet constitutional requirements.
In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, INEC clarified that the petition failed to satisfy the provisions outlined in Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
