Popular clergywoman, Funke Felix-Adejumo, has urged married women to stop pretending they do not enjoy intimacy, emphasizing that it is a natural and essential part of marriage.

In a viral video from a church sermon, Felix-Adejumo openly expressed her perspective, stating that she enjoys intimacy and has embraced it as a vital aspect of her marriage and family life.

“Who says women don’t enjoy intimacy? I do! If I didn’t, how would I have children? Many women pretend, but the truth is, they do enjoy it,” she said.

She criticized cultural beliefs that discourage women from expressing their enjoyment, arguing that such mentalities have contributed to marital issues.

“African culture has conditioned women to believe that showing enjoyment makes them less virtuous. You need to reject that mindset because it can cause problems in your marriage,” she added.

Felix-Adejumo encouraged wives to be more expressive, advising them to engage their spouses and appreciate their efforts in fostering intimacy.

“Tell yourself, ‘Intimacy is good! I desire my husband.’ Don’t just lie there during the act—express yourself, moan, engage! Tickle your husband, touch him, and when he’s done, say, ‘Good job!’” she advised.

According to her, intimacy strengthens marital bonds, and couples should not allow societal perceptions to negatively influence their relationships.

Her statements have sparked conversations online, with many sharing their opinions on her perspective.
