A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district, India, made the unexpected decision to arrange his wife’s wedding to her lover after learning about their long-term affair.
The man, identified as Babloo, had been married to Radhika since 2017, and the couple shared two children, aged 7 and 9.
Due to work commitments, Babloo was frequently away from home, during which time Radhika began a relationship with a younger man from their village.
Babloo’s family eventually discovered the affair and informed him.
After attempting to reconcile with his wife without success, Babloo decided to take an unconventional approach—he publicly acknowledged the relationship and arranged for Radhika to marry her lover.
He first took them to court to officially register their marriage, followed by a traditional ceremony at a temple where they exchanged garlands and wedding vows.
A video shared online captures an emotional moment as Radhika, in tears, weds her lover in the presence of her husband.
Babloo’s only request was to retain custody of their two children, which Radhika agreed to after marrying her lover.
