Controversial businesswoman and talent manager Mary Gold has publicly apologized to content creator Ijoba Lande after admitting to playing a role in the collapse of his marriage with his wife, Dara.
Her apology follows a viral video in which she confessed to taking Dara to the home of a senior actor, Baba Tee, where she allegedly had an intimate session with the actor.
She also admitted to allowing Dara and her boyfriend to receive medical treatment for an infection at her residence.
In a video shared on her social media pages, Mary Gold expressed remorse over her actions and pleaded for forgiveness.
“I am begging Lande to forgive me for taking his wife to Baba Tee’s house and for allowing her and her boyfriend to treat an infection at my place. I want Nigerians to help me beg him,” she said.
She also extended an apology to Baba Tee but expressed disappointment over his alleged dishonesty.
“I also apologize to Baba Tee for taking Lande’s wife to his house without informing him. However, my spirit is not happy with him because he lied against me. I understand he was trying to protect himself, but it still hurts,” she added.
Her apology has sparked reactions online, with many questioning her role in the unfolding drama and the extent of her involvement in the couple’s troubled marriage.
