Armed bandits have stormed the residence of some students of the Federal University, Dutsinma, in Katsina State, abducting four of them.
The kidnappers targeted the Paris Quarters, located behind the university, broke into the rooms of their victims and whisked them away.
Survivors said the bandits arrived in large numbers about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 before going after some students.
Those taken away by the bandits have been identified as Wali Kayode (25), Fahad Muhammad (20), Emmanuel (surname unknown), and another yet-to-be-identified person.
Security operatives arrived at the scene long after the bandits had left.
Quoting security sources, Zagazola Makama, said efforts were ongoing to track down the kidnappers and rescue the students.
