A trending video has shown the moment the Naa Gamu of the Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West, Lawrencia Naa Borley Nelson, was shot and killed during an installation ceremony in Ghana.
The fatal shooting took place during a traditional installation process, where the new chief was being enstooled in accordance with local customs.

From the trending video, a gunshot first rang out which startled everyone present at the ceremony, but they soon recovered and continued with the ceremony.
The second gunshot struck Nelson and she went down with people rushing to her side. She was later confirmed dead. Several others sustained injuries in the chaos.
