The Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, has resigned his position.
He tendered his resignation letter to President Bola Tinubu today August 24.
The reason for this development is not known yet.
Abubakar became NIA DG in January 2018, during the tenure of former President Buhari in January 2018.
