Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke has gone online to cry out that her N100 million is trapped in Heritage Bank.
This comes after CBN revoked Heritage Bank’s licence.
NDIC has said they will only pay a maximum of N5million to the depositors of Heritage bank whose money is trapped in the bank.
Customers who have more money in the bank are to wait till the assets of the bank is sold off.
On X, she explained that she opened the account when she won Big Brother Naija because they were sponsors of the reality show and that was the only account they could pay her winnings into.
She added that her financial adviser fooled her into fixing the money, despite knowing that the bank was experiencing problems.
“I really don’t know how to react about this … I have been hoping for the best .. thinking there’s a way out…. #heritagebank,” She wrote.
