Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Information, Bayo Onanuga has deleted his tweet after he was criticized by Nigerians.
Reacting to outrage from Nigerians over the central bank’s announcement that Nigerians might have to pay a Cyber security levy, Onanuga tweeted that the Cyber Security Levy is 0.005%, not 0.5%.
Nigerians blasted him for the comment, saying he was unaware that both numbers meant the same thing. He has since deleted his tweet.
