A woman has been k!lled after a container fell on her car in Ilesa, Osun State on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
An X user Duke of Ijesa who witnessed the incident called for the urgent intervention of road safety officials and other authorities with the equipment that could lift the heavy container off the car.
He reported that an urgent intervention could still save the woman as she was still alive at the time.
The man tweeted again, saying that it was an hour and there was no authority to save the woman.
He further reported that the container was ‘overloaded’ and boys in the neighbourhood assisted in offloading the container in order to be able to lift it off the car.
But their efforts proved abortive as the lady gave up the ghost.
In a later update, he announced the demise of the lady.
