Two people have lost their lives after they attempted to snatch ballot boxes and were shot by security men in Kogi State.
A supporter of the ruling All Progressives (APC) party in Kogi State, Umoru Agabidu, was one of the two men shot dead by military officers.
It is reported that the suspect had gone to a polling unit in Agala Ogane, Anyigba, Dekina Local Government area of the state, to snatch a ballot box as voting was ongoing.
Unfortunately for him, he was gunned down by military officers who were on duty at the polling unit.
A source reports, “ This happened in my polling unit. They warned him not to carry the ballot box but he didn’t listen. He was sh%t by soldiers as he was about to cart away with the ballot box.”
In a trending video, women can be seen mourning as Umoru is left in a pool of his blood.
The second person was gunned down in similar circumstances. His own details were not released.
