The Nigerian social media is awash with the news of ace singer, Davido and his wife, Chioma, welcoming a set of twin babies.
A Nigerian pastor, Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu, leaked what he called a whatsapp chat between him and Davido, wherein Davido purportedly announced the birth of the twins.
Agochukwu put the news on his official facebook page together with a prophecy he gave at the time that Chioma lost her first child, Ifeanyi.
According to the chat, Davido told the cleric that his prophecy from last year had come true.
Agochukwu stated in November last year, 2022 after the couple lost their son that God promised him Davido and Chioma would have twins.
Although Davido and Chioma haven’t made an official announcement, congratulations have been pouring in on social media as fans and loved ones expressed joy.
Fans are linking the news to Davido’s lyrics in one of the songs in his latest album ‘Timeless’, where he made reference to wife becoming ‘Maba Ibeji’ (mother of twins).
In the song titled ‘In The Garden’, which features Morravey, Davido in his lyrics said, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji”.
A picture of Davido lying down beside Chioma with two tots in a cot is already trending on Twitter.
