A Nigerian Twitter user has narrated how the Baàle of a community allegedly demanded the sum of N10m from a hotelier who volunteered to repair a major road damaged in a community.
“Rain damaged a major road in the area where my parents live. A fella in the community who just built a massive hotel wants to fix it, but the baàle is insisting he brings 10million 1st. Greed and corruption is inherent in Nigerians and it irks me always,” he tweeted on Saturday, June 10.
