‘I am disappointed in the intelligence system? – President Buhari tweets on Kuje prison attack

President Buhari has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment with the country’s intelligence system following the Tuesday terrorist attack on the Kuje correctional centre.
Terrorists stormed the prison facility about 10 pm on Tuesday, July 6 and engaged the security agents in a gun battle.
About 600 inmates including Boko Haram terrorists were released during the attack.
The President led a team of government officials to the prison on Wednesday to assess the level of destruction.
In a tweet posted on his handle later, the President wondered how the attackers got away with the crime. He said he is expecting a comprehensive report on the incident.
”Saddened by the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje. I am disappointed with the intelligence system. How can terrorists organize, have weapons, attack a security installation and get away with it? I am expecting a comprehensive report on this shocking incident.”
Meanwhile, the president has just left the country for Senegal.
