Tyre of Airplane catches fire as it taxied to take off from Port Harcourt airport (video)
The tyre of an aeroplane which was about to take off from Port Harcourt International Airport on Monday, May 2, caught fire, leading to the evacuation of the 50 passengers on the flight.
A passenger alleged that they were initially lied to that the weather was bad, without knowing that there was a fire incident.
She also disclosed that they had to run out of the airplane. Watch the video of the incident below.
Yesterday evening, passengers were rescued when the tyres of the plane operated by Dana Air caught fire at Port Harcourt International Airport.
Fire service and operatives of the airport were on ground to put the situation under control.
